Nasty Girls June 16/09

3 Rounds for Time:
50 squats
7 muscle ups
10 hanging power cleans 135/95

Subbed 21 pull ups, 21 stationary dips, used my toes lightly on the box but went to full depth at the bottom and lock out at the top for the dips, they were brutal. My time sucked, the last time I did this 2 minutes faster in December but didn't say what I did for the dips. Damn!!!

I hear ya bigtime on the subs....tottally sucks doesn't it.

It kills you're time and almost makes you embarrased eh? At least it did with me. My stopwatch died half way through, but I too was in the 20 minute range with the 3-1 Sub on the MU's.

Definitely sucks on the subs but I was glad to be able to rx the womens weight for the cleans. My hands are friggin sore gotta cut the callouses off and file them down before they tear, I was lucky to make it through without bleeding today:) I think a nice 5k for time will be welcome tomorrow hopefully the rain holds off:) Honestly though part way through the pullups or dips I don't remember which one, I was debating what the hell I'm doing trying to keep up with these wods, sweat was landing on the floor under the dipping station it was ridiculous. Have been eating better for the last couple days and plan to keep it up so I should be back on track by the end of the week.

Hollie these wods are tough as nails as you know. Your gonna have good days and bad ones. You and bowser toughed that one out. That is a boatload of dips and pullups. Trust me MU's are somewhat easier because the numbers are so much smaller and easier mentally. Great job sticking with it H!

Thnx, it never seems that bad when it's done:) I tweaked my back a little last Friday and am feeling it again today, that sucks, I don't usually get injured. Will fight through it.
